Dannielynn Turns Two and a Tombstone for Anna Nicole
Just picked up a copy of US Weekly magazine. This blog does not correctly process question marks in the title. If possible, I would have placed a big question mark ??? behind the “Tombstone for Anna Nicole” part.
US magazine published a story about the arrival of Dannielynn’s 2nd birthday. She sure is a cutie and I hope she had a wonderful time.
As I read the article, I came upon this paragraph quoting Larry Birkhead;
What does this birthday mean to you?
…Today I’m toy shopping; last week I was tombstone shopping for Anna’s grave. [He and Howard K. Stern plan to put it on her Bahamian grave to commemorate what would have been her 41st birthday on November 28]
One glaring omission stood out to me. Just a tombstone for Anna Nicole? What about Daniel?
The second thing that stood out is, just last week, Larry was “tombstone shopping”.
On August 15th, I wrote this article. It explained that on June 20th 2007, Art Harris of artharris.com wrote an article announcing the search for a “Flawless, 7 X 8 Foot Slab of Granite; Stern and Birkhead Hunt “Perfect” Memorial; TBD Anna & Daniel Photo To Be Etched in Stone”.
January 5th 2008, a Howard K. Stern propaganda site published the name of the company who was to make the stone. Subsequently, myself and a fellow blogger Kerry, learned that not only was the company who was cited not in the process of making a stone for Anna and Daniel but a stone of the size reported is not even permitted in the cemetery where they are buried.
Now Larry has announced yet another stone for Anna Nicole. Perhaps they will follow through this time after all the false alarms and stories released to the press that have never happened. Hopefully there will also be a stone for Daniel.
Here is another quote that caught my eye;

It’s tough. And I’m under a microscope. Everything I do is judged. When I first got Dannielynn, she loved to be held facing forward, so I would hold her that way. And I would go on the blogs, which I’ve leaned not to do, and people would say, “Larry doesn’t even know how to hold his baby!”
I have to agree with Larry. Public perception is everything when you make your living in the limelight. That’s why it’s pathetic when a public figure is caught lying. It ruins reputations and can result in loss of income.
Larry had a few things to say about Virgie Arthur. She is Dannielynn’s grandmother who has not been permitted to see the baby since Larry and Howard K. Stern became best buddies. Which is somewhat bizarre after the claims that Larry made against Howard during the burial hearings and to the Bahamian police department. Larry claims there is a custody battle between Virgie and himself in the Bahamas. Is there?
Larry also claims “You have these people fighting for your daughter trying to take money from her“. Very strong and unproven words about a woman who lost her daughter and grandson in the space of five months on your best buddy’s watch. Not nice Larry. Not nice at all.

Well, maybe if we keep nagging they will finally properly honor Anna and Daniel.
Here is a little lesson on parenthood, Larry. Don’t lie! It is a bad influence on your children.

I think Brickhead only mentioned a grave marker for the sympathy vote and to insert Anna Nicole’s DEATH into the story somehow to make it more marketable to readers, because Brickhead WITHOUT any mention of Anna Nicole is not of interest to anyone.
Just like he played the part of a real and decent awshucks wronged daddy in the DNA battle … now he is playing the part of a grieving ex lover of Anna Nicole. He AINT that good of an actor, and the public aint buyin him in either role.

At this point, I’d say just let it be until Virgie can bring them home and give them a meaningful marker instead of some token CYA gesture.

While you have a brilliant point as usual Carole. I can’t help but be furious, that he wouldn’t even mention a marker for DANNY who has been DEAD for 2 WHOLE YEARS NOW…
Tho. anything they do is seen as a CYA event, especially after we bring it up on a public blog… Remember the TRUST…wow, was that like a week, or was it a couple of days, huh, woody???

Does he feel left out of all howie’s lawsuits??? What is wrong with him, if he just did the right thing for his daughter and Virgie, he might just public aproval back, and be famous like he wants. Well, he would have to dump howie too, wonder if he can do that???

Well I am sick of seeing Larry. He is out for any money or parties that he can get it appears by all he says on the news.

It really would have been nice to see just Dannielynn and perhaps other children her age having fun together with Daddy getting his schnoz in there. I’ve heard it said, however, if a picture is just about the child then the monies for the pic would mostly go into a trust account for that child. If a parent is included then they can share the wealth. It’s obvious that Larry means to share in the bounty.
I bought the magazine just to see what all it did say about the party. I see he still hasn’t curbed his violent vocabulary. And why in the world would anyone want to see a “reality” show about him without Dannielynn. Is that what his reality is?
I do hope he uses part of the money that’s received to have Dannielynn’s teeth attended to. That front tooth looks like it may be decaying to the root. Dentists specializing in child friendly denistry could at least seal the chip without causing Dannielynn distress.
Try as I might I just can’t see any of Larry in that baby. I see a good bit of Anna, but Dannielynn favors Ben Thompson more than she does Larry. IMO

Larry also said in an interview that the picture on the stone looked awful & was rejected by him.
I think this was around the time of the one year anniversary of her death.
So it probably was on ET or The Insider.
He said if he had allowed it to be erected on her grave as it was he could hear Anna saying, “You dummy, why did you let them put that on my grave!” or something to that effect.
That seems to be his “aww shucks” catch phrase to explain away his & Howie’s shortcomings (pun intended).
So that story too was yet ANOTHER lie from Larry.
I think Howie & Larry are running neck to neck on who is the biggest liar.
If he thinks we believe he doesn’t read all about himself on the www he really is living in the land of sugar plums & fairies.

Any network that is stupid enough to sign him up for a reality show deserves what they get… a failure.
No one cares about Larry or his new found friends Sandy & Krista.
Every interview Larry gives he tries to play the sympathy card.
How much longer will a few people be gullible & hang on to his every word?
Every website that covered the “Dannielynn Turns Two” story talked about Larry pimping his child out instead of working.
Many see him for what he is…a lowlife loser.
IMO Larry & Howard deserve one another. Birds of a feather, two peas in a pod…..

I think the ‘wet ones’ are best so far as I’ve seen…and I know it’s all a matter of taste and how you were raised…so I’m rather conservative.

I just came back from the Bahamas on vacation on 10/21/08, I went to the cemetery to visit Anna and Daniel’s grave, as soon as we walked into the cemetery we were told to leave by a worker, he wouldn’t even tell us where their graves were. I understand privacy but that was unacceptable,Anna Nicole loved her fans and her fans her, she would have wanted people to visit her grave. I live in New Jersey I don’t get to the Bahamas often it was a one time thing. Larry and Howard need to make visiting more assessable to everyone.

Just a thought…
But, just maybe she wanted to be left alone for a change.
And, once you’re gone, you’re gone…
So, does it matter?
And, especially ‘private’ might have been the loss of her son.
Maybe she didn’t want to share him?

The monument for Ann Nicole and Daniel is being finished and should be installed soon. Aquarius Laser Etching is not working on the stone.

The stone is for both of them. It is being kept quiet, but I am sure there will be plenty of pictures.
