My Fox Houston Asks - Was There a Conspiracy to Destroy Anna Nicole Smiths Mother - Virgie Arthur
A “My Fox Houston” reporter asks, “Was there a conspiracy to destroy the reputation of Anna Nicole Smith’s Mother?” He was talking about a lawsuit filed by Anna Nicole’s mother Virgie Arthur against Howard K. Stern, his sister Bonnie Stern, Journalist Art Harris, TMZ, its managing editor Harvey Levin and a group of Texas bloggers.
That was the lead in to a short interview by the station with Mrs. Arthur’s Houston Attorney Neil McCabe. McCabe had apparently just left the hearing in which defendants Stern, his sister Bonnie Stern and journalist Art Harris were scheduled to discuss jurisdictional issues being as Mrs Arthur lives in Texas and Howard K. Stern, Bonnie Stern and Art Harris do not. The three bloggers being sued are Texas residents.
The suit accuses Stern, his sister and others in a conspiracy to “destroy” Virgie Arthur.
A word lifted directly from one of the defendants according to Arthur’s attorney Neil McCabe of the O’Quinn Law Firm.
McCabe said, “We have an email from her saying, I’m still dedicated to destroying Virgie Arthur.” “This is really vicious stuff.”
TMZ.com posted an article accusing Virgie Arthur of producing a son with her step brother. McCabe says TMZ also ran a poll question concerning the article that was voted on by over 10,000 people. Most voted that Mrs Arthur is “creepy” due to the article.
The lawsuit says the information for the TMZ piece was provided to TMZ by the Sterns and others.
McCabe said, “They enlisted some people in Texas to help them with that. They tried to dig up dirt, as they called it, to try to ruin her (Arthurs) reputation.
McCabe said they will be asking for millions of dollars in damages.
Wrangling has continued over the disclosure of emails the plaintiffs consider to be evidence. The judge has set another hearing for December 10th.

Interesting side note to those who missed the news at 9 on the Houston Fox site, they have a chat box under the live feed which was absolutely hilarious to participate in last night. The next time news regarding the cases are reported there, please do arrive about 30 minutes early and enjoy the show.
The defendents attorneys didn’t have anything to say as they left court. But Mr. McCabe more than made up for their lack of participation. lol…He’s awesome!

*Aligned with R.Cosby who wrote in her book that Anna was a prostitute

Hi Carole, I missed that. I am so mad…lol! They still had the video up to watch. The other side had no comment I noticed. Mr McCabe handled himself very well. I’m going to check out that chat box. It looks like fun. Maybe I can put one here instead of the little one but then it would be a free for all. I don’ think those types are moderated at all…lol!

Well, it looks like this case is in full swing. I had expected it to be settled and sealed like the other. Maybe this will actual go to a jury. After what Virgie Arthur has been through I hope so. I don’t think there is any amount of money that could compensate her for the attacks she had to endure at such a trying time.

In the long run, it’s not about the money, IMO, Mrs. Marples. Virgie wants justice, and I don’t blame her if she doesn’t stop until that is achieved.
Like you, I hope this one makes it to court. I hope both the Texas cases do; the public NEEDS to know the truth. It shouldn’t be sealed or hidden away.
Counselor, if you’re peeking in, please don’t let any of the attorneys in either suit put anything under seal. It sucks like a rotten lemon.

I love this article QV. McCabe is the man that will get Stern I am sure. Virgies reputation was really bad from all the people that supported Stern. There are a couple still on topix that write some really bad things about her.

Maybe you could give us ‘decorating tips’ on how to live with inside animals.
Do Cats tear up leather furniture, too? What kind of carpet don’t cats like to destroy.
What’s the best way to bathe a cat?
Is there a way?
What about dogs, what about chew toys and that residue left on carpets? Are there, or is there anything out there that isn’t falsely advertising, that it won’t stain?

Gosh, kids are maybe (probably) even worse…

YUK!! Virgie has NO CLAIM…she didn’t look after her DRUGGIE Daughter!!! NEITHER DID HK$..IMO he exploited her but cleverly manipulated her…HK$ IS A DISGRACE!

Jill, Virgie did too have a claim to her daughters body. More than Stern did legally.
Anna was 39 years old and wealthy with bodyguards and security. How was Virgie supposed to get her into rehab or make her stop. She did all she humanly could to help her.

Huh! He not only did not try to get her into rehab. He:
1. Had his name put on the scripts.
2. He went and got them for her.
3. Helped her to get scripts from more than one Dr. at a time.
4. In the Bahamas, made sure she took meds around the clock. Kept her doped up and then she died.

How did Anna pay for all the drugs she was given if she was broke. The only thing broke about Anna was her willpower, and I believe that was because Stern wouldn’t let her start to withdraw or come down before he was feeding her dope again.

Stern and Anna knew each other from FEB 1997(HKS got ANS from jail).They were not “together” since 1997. HKS lived in Marina Del Rey and Camden.They became business partners in 2002. Anna Nicole Show.I really don’t understand people who said that “he fed her with drugs for ten years”, or he was “responsible for her”.What about Birkhead? He gave her cocaine and Ecstasy.He said in court he impregnated her on purpose, though he knew she was a drug addict. Are we talking about double standards?

Birkhead is certainly not blameless, but he wasn’t present when Daniel died and he wasn’t present when Anna died. Howie was the person who carried the duffle bag of drugs.
